Job Profile

  • Planning and commissioning of foundry systems in production
  • Responsibility for the approval and implementation of process adjustments
  • Training and certification of foundry employees
  • Reviewing and updating work instructions
  • Process optimization and stabilization through the use of SPC (Statistical Process Control)
  • Further development of auxiliary, operating and input materials to promote resource-saving production
  • Definition of casting parameters for development and series products
  • Technical support for the quality department as part of complaints management
  • Cooperation with universities and research institutes

Candidate Profile

  • Completed technical studies in the fields of materials engineering, foundry technology or metallurgy is desirable, alternatively a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in the investment casting industry, particularly in the IGT and Aero sectors
  • Experience with the metallurgy of nickel-based superalloys is an advantage
  • Interest in OPEX, Lean Management and Six Sigma as well as the willingness to actively participate in change processes
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Confident handling of MS Office; knowledge of MS Project and Minitab is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally on business trips
