Job profile

  • Overall responsibility for the management and control of the Finance and Accounting & Controlling departments
  • Advising the management on all business and financial matters
  • Ensuring modern and efficient Human Resources management
  • Development, motivation and management of employees according to the principles of effective leadership
  • Responsibility for the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IAS/IFRS for quarterly reporting to the parent company
  • Monitoring the company’s liquidity and targets and analysing the causes of deviations from targets
  • Analysing business development and improving accounting valuation items (management of inventories, assets, receivables and risk provisions)
  • Ongoing interaction with auditors and tax advisors
  • Co-operation with the European head office

Candidate profile

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration or industrial engineering with a focus on finance and controlling
  • Alternatively, completed commercial vocational training with further training in business administration
  • Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting as well as controlling in a manufacturing industrial company
  • Expertise in budget planning, target/actual analyses and reporting
  • Experience in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IAS/IFRS
  • Familiarity with cost accounting systems and the realisation of calculations and forecasts
  • Expertise in accounting regulations according to IFRS and HGB
  • Experience in personnel management an advantage
  • Confident handling of ERP and MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, Italian an advantage
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and process-orientated financial professional with a confident manner and professionalism
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to analyse strategic and operational situations and clearly formulate their financial implications
  • Approachable and appreciative leader with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
