Job profile:

  • Technical and disciplinary management and organisation of the Automation department
  • Further development and optimisation of existing automation technologies (machine optimisation, handling, material flow, Industry 4.0, digitalisation)
  • Responsibility for planning, project planning, evaluation and software development
  • Optimisation of systems and machines and involvement in new developments
  • Ensuring and adhering to specified project goalsCross-departmental coordination with responsible parties and reporting to production management
  • Coordination, management and control of external service providers

Candidate profile:

  • Successfully completed 3.5-year vocational training as an electronics technician (m/f/d) for industrial engineering / automation technology
  • Additional training as a state-certified electrical engineer (m/f/d) – specialising in automation technology or comparable
  • Several years of experience in the automation or maintenance of operational production systems
  • Experience in the management and control of employees (m/f/d) desirable
  • Sound expertise in the design and support of automation systems
  • Knowledge of Siemens automation systems such as SIMATIC, SIMOTION or SINUMERIK as well as various development software for PLC and HMI such as STEP 7 Professional, TIA Portal – SIMATIC HMI operating and monitoring systems
