Job Profile
- Responsibility for the approval and control of process adjustments
- Training and qualification of the team in the field of wax technology
- Reviewing and adapting work specifications and technical documents
- Improvement and stabilisation of existing and future production processes
- Monitoring of relevant key figures (e.g. spraying process, wax processing, assembly and visual inspection)
- Control and continuous optimisation of spraying and assembly of complex wax components with high dimensional requirements
- Sustainable optimisation of the auxiliary and operating materials used in waxing operations
- Support in the introduction of new processes and technologies
- Co-operation with academic institutions and research partners
Candidate profile
- Completed training as a foundry mechanic or technical pattern maker or comparable knowledge and skills with further training as a technician or master craftsman (m/f/d)
- Several years of professional experience in the steel or stainless steel sector, pattern making and work preparation
- Experience with casting simulations
- Confident handling of “Magmasoft”
- Sound experience and knowledge of cast steel materials
- Experience in the preparation of enquiries and orders from a technical and economic point of view
- Good knowledge of English
