Job Profile

  • Responsibility for the approval and control of process adjustments
  • Training and qualification of the team in the field of wax technology
  • Reviewing and adapting work specifications and technical documents
  • Improvement and stabilisation of existing and future production processes
  • Monitoring of relevant key figures (e.g. spraying process, wax processing, assembly and visual inspection)
  • Control and continuous optimisation of spraying and assembly of complex wax components with high dimensional requirements
  • Sustainable optimisation of the auxiliary and operating materials used in waxing operations
  • Support in the introduction of new processes and technologies
  • Co-operation with academic institutions and research partners

Candidate profile

  • Completed training as a foundry mechanic or technical pattern maker or comparable knowledge and skills with further training as a technician or master craftsman (m/f/d)
  • Several years of professional experience in the steel or stainless steel sector, pattern making and work preparation
  • Experience with casting simulations
  • Confident handling of “Magmasoft”
  • Sound experience and knowledge of cast steel materials
  • Experience in the preparation of enquiries and orders from a technical and economic point of view
  • Good knowledge of English
