Job description:
- Supporting the team leaders to fulfil the department goals
- Responsibility for achieving quality targets and meeting production deadlines
- Management of projects in production and assumption of corresponding tasks
- Responsibility for metallurgy as well as for stability and further development
- Deputising for the team leader (m/f/d)
- Supporting and advising engineering on casting technology issues
- Supporting sales during customer visits to the plant
- Weekly reporting of activities directly to the CEO and plant management
- Readiness for special projects (if required)
Candidate profile:
- Completed studies, ideally materials science & materials technology with specialisation in foundry technology
- Alternatively, completed vocational training in foundry technology
- Additional training in business administration is an advantage
- Several years of professional and management experience in a foundry
- Sound knowledge in the use of ERP systems and MS Office programmes
- Business fluent in English, knowledge of French an advantage
- High level of self-motivation and enthusiasm
